- January 25: Thanks to my dear fellow collectors, I have found out that ''apparently'' two more Nice singles ara available, but CD-R's issued after CD5 promo and 12'' Prydz mixes, when Remixes for promo were issued on i-tunes. After that a CD-R with those mixes was pressed and sold for charity.A very few in existance-2004 US 7-track yellow-label promo CD-R acetate from Epic Records presented in custom Sony-BMG picture sleeve. No cat.number for the other CDR. So therefore I have removed a tag on lastweeks post of Nice singles which was stating that those were all singles in existance. Thanks again to Igor.. I was also informed that there was a 12'' Nice single with pic.sleeve sold on ebay, but that is definitely a bootleg.
- Today just a small portion of pic.updates: Two jukebox 7'' singles and Thank You promo sticker.
- January 25: Ok, It took me almost 5 years to locate and to get Nice EU CD5 promo edition, extremely rare. Last time I saw it on internet it went for more than 100 uk pounds.. This time arround I was lucky enough to grab it for 3 times less money.. It was a great catch.. While I got the 12'' Promo remixes by Eric Prydz on Christmas 2006 this beauty on CD5 i got for this last Christmas..So I have decided to take a pic of them together and upload it on privatecollection section as this edition is COMPLETED.
- The rummour is that Duran Duran will take the stage on Glastonbry on June 2006-but this is yet to be confirmed..
- And the singles collection list is partly updated. Plenty of cassete tape singles need to be written in..
- January 14: A few days back finally an official 2009 Bauble set was dispatched from duranduran.com store.Today in pictures limited set 12/400. They have handprinted pictures. In my opinion it is not their best baubles set (compared to 2005 Astronaut and 2003 commemorative set) but they are unique and definitely a must. So grab youres in official store!!

- Denis O'Regan has launched new website with a collection of 45 Duran Duran pictures from his archive.His new project, a Duran Duran visual book. He says: "I‘m currently producing a book with Duran Duran trough my intense Book Imprint, entitled ‘Careless Memories - Duran Duran in The Eighties’ and I will be opening a print gallery in London’s Westbourne Grove in 2010".

- March 26th will see the release of the new Noah Baumbach film GREENBERG, featuring a terrific soundtrack quaterbacked by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. The soundtrack will also feature Duran Duran’s “The Chauffeur,” a fan favorite first released on the band’s RIO album. Greenberg (the CD) can be found in shops in the UK on March 22 on DFA/Parlophone.

Duran Duran have joined music's finest artists in support of the War Child “Heroes” CD by giving the compilation an exclusive live performance of their classic Bond theme, A View to A Kill, as a bonus track on the album. The version the band have chosen is a collaboration with DJ and Producer Mark Ronson, who arranged and performed the song with Duran Duran during a recent one-off performance at the historic La Cigale theatre in Paris, marking the first time Ronson and the band have played together. This rare recording is available as a bonus track when purchasing the European release of the War Child “Heroes” CD |
