So..Long and waited UK ''Homecoming'' tour started in Belfast Odyssey Arena on April 7-th 2004 ,but their first show in original lineup since 1984 on Wembley Arena on April 13-th 2004 was historical.
These Pop veterans in last six months were contributed with 3 lifetime achivement awards,in the past year they are working hardly on new material. All the shows they did and will do as original line up were SOLD OUT in a matter of minutes, and their greatest cd hit the uk charts for the third time and went double platinum.
Unnoficially-the band sold out in past 25 years aprox 80 mil. albums

Intro was fantastic. All five of them stood there on the stage infront of thrilling audience and randomly a lite would flash on each of them.Great..All you could see was their black figures standing and then slowly moving to pick up their instruments..The first opening song was ''Sunrise'' in Jason Nevins Remix.
Those two houres in the Arena weren't enough for the band to go through all of their hits and they expand for about 25 years.
Three new songs: ''Sunrise'', ''What Happens Tomorrow'' and clasicall duran pop ballad ''Beautiful Coloures'' were accepted very well, but their clasics like ''Hungry..',''ITSISK?'', '' A View To A Kill'' made the crowd go even wilder and crazyer.

Production and stage design was very good and strong.I think it's their best since 1993 and their ''Wedding'' tour. For special effects and films on screen(you can see them on the left) they hired ''Deepv isual'' company which also worked on ''Manga zone'' cartoons. |
For me,the highlight of the evening surely was performance of '' The Chauffeur''. Simon made no mistakes there .''New Religion'' was fantastic. |
"I like noise 'cos I like bringing down the house" were the lyrics which introduce the new funky version of '' I Don't Want Your Love''. Apsolutely amazeing.New back vocal brought so much life in to that song and also in the songs for ''Come Undone'' , ''Union Of The Snake'' and ''The Reflex''.
Andy Hamilton who is with the band since 1984 fitted very well with the sax.
John and Andy were absolutely crazy. They were jumping all around the stage and made crowd screaming all the time.

Well.I've seen the band as a trio on the same place in 1998,met the band as a trio in Zagreb/Croatia ,but this show, apart that I saw the fab five together was best there was.
