Well, we heard weeks ago that The Village People will perform on Zagreb's main square, but only a few days before the event we found out that Nile with Chic will be performing also. Wow, great oportunity to meet the guy who produced The Reflex single, Arena album, who worked on Notorious album, and co-produced latest Astronaut album..

We got our way through on press conference as we knew Croatia journalists are not very interested generally in ''music's'' culture as more in gossips and local celeberities private lives, so great oportunity for us to chat with Nile..I was shocked by the silence in the room same as I was in 2001 press conference with duran duran in Zagreb when organiser gave chance to journalists to ask some questions .

Well, some of journalist heard my reaction, as this time I couldn' keep my mouth shut. I don't want to use bad words again and here.

Anyway I grabbed the mic and asked Nile about his work with Duran Duran on Astronaut album, and what happend in generally with it, and how was it working with them then and now. Nile was very kind and gave me a long answer, but I was to nervous so I couldn't remember all of it. I remember he said twice how he loves Duran Duran, how they all together wanted to make a great hit record, but todays music's business is alot more different than in the 80's and it all turned out how it did.

Then he comented my dd shirt and asked if I have an extra one for him..

This conversation kind of breaked the ice, so finally some journalists started to ask questions, like: ''Did you go shoping today in Zagreb?'', ''Is Zagreb expensive city for you?'' and last question and my favorite as I would like to know which journalist was that (I'd give him a raise):

'' What do you think of Bono''-this guy was probably irritated by me when I was asking a questions about duran duran as he didn't know the connection, so there it was: Nile and others were a bit surprised: ''where does this come from?'', but mannaged to gave proper answer and comment Bono's work for charity...

Well, that was it mostly with press conference-later we were invited on sound check where chic performed ''good times''

Same evening we got passes for after show party and seats infront of the stage.

Show was amazing..Just before the show we attended special small press conference with The Village People..

After show party started a bit late, so we only waited for Nile and rest of the Chic to come out of the dressing room, took some more autographs and left them to enjoy the rest of the evening...

What can I say: big applause for our journalists: well done gentelman, you have shown yourself again in proper way!!
